Approximately 1.4   people in the United States were part of gangs as of 2011, and more than 33,000 gangs were active in the country.[3] These include national street gangs, local street gangs, prison gangs, outlaw motorcycle clubs, and ethnic and organized crime gangs.[4]

Many American gangs began, and still exist, in urban areas. In many cases, national street gangs originated in major cities such as New York City and Chicago[5] but they later grew in other American cities like Albuquerque[6] and Washington, D.C.[7]

Criminon Courses and Services

Criminon helps inmates, ex-offenders, and at-risk individuals in a variety of settings, ranging from on-site programs delivered in juvenile halls and correctional facilities, to correspondence courses that reach even into the new super-maximum security prisons, to workshops delivered on the ground to at-risk youth, and training delivered to gang interventionists.

Through these courses and on-site programs that teach basic life skills, Criminon helps offenders regain their self-respect and personal integrity, enabling them to return to society as contributing, productive citizens. Program participants gain a practical understanding of right and wrong and the satisfaction of ethical and social conduct—sometimes for the first time in their lives.

The Grant Cardone Foundation is an international non-profit organization invested in helping youth in our communities reach their full potential. Entrepreneur and best-selling author, Grant Cardone, created the foundation as a result of experiencing the traumatic loss of his father when he was only ten-years-old. Growing up without a father figure in his life affected him emotionally, socially, and academically. so he has made it his mission to help young adults, who may need life and career guidance, just as he once did. The foundation partners with community organizations, municipal agencies, corporations, and other non-profit entities to help deliver energy and educational resources to kids in need.

Tools for Change

All members in the Circle of Brotherhood are responsible for volunteering for a minimum of 10 events per year.  Each new member is required to do an additional 10 events on top of the mandatory 10 for the regular membership.
